A P-Iris lens and specialist software automatically optimizes lens resolution and depth of field for image sharpness by controlling the iris position. The true day/night functionality through the use of a removable infrared cut-filter maintains high quality images for all-day surveillance in critical areas. Moreover, this camera supports 2-way audio, audio detection, video motion detection, active tampering alarm, and a microSD / microSDHC slot for local storage (cards sold separately) are also supported.
To help minimize bandwidth and storage needs, the AXIS P1357 5mp IP Fixed IP Security Camera provides digital pan/tilt/zoom and multi-view streaming, which enables several cropped view areas to be streamed simultaneously. It supports multiple, individually configurable video streams in H.264 and Motion JPEG. Once focus is set after manually adjusting the lens, it can be further fine-tuned from a computer using the remote back focus functionality. The pixel counter further helps the installer verify that the pixel resolution of an object fulfills regulatory or customer requirements, for example, for facial identification.
