The Axis XP40-Q1765 is an explosion protected bullet camera. It is best for for on or offshore heavy industrial environments where potential explosive dangers might exist. It features an electro-polished 316L stainless steel housing certified for hazardous areas according to for example ATEX and IECEx. This extremely secure housing prevents any inside sparks or explosions from escaping and igniting vapors, gases, dust or fibers in the surrounding air. The camera itself carries a 4.7~84.6 varifocal lens with 18x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom. An infrared-cut filter and Wide Dynamic Range make it capable of recording in low light or strongly contrasted lighting conditions. This camera comes with Pan-Tilt-Zoom functionality including 360° pan.
The camera brings a high level of flexible integration with other equipment, such as access control and fire alarms. It offers flexible remote accessibility, using any existing IP-based networks. XF40-Q1765 for hazardous areas is a complement to Axis’ wide range of network cameras that can be used in safe areas. IP67 and IK10 protection standards ensure that this camera is highly resistant to inclement weather conditions as well as unruly vandals. This camera is operable in extreme temperatures or arctic conditions.
