Designed for indoor video surveillance applications requiring a discreet camera, the Axis P5512 IP Security Camera is a compact and affordable option. This device offers powerful PTZ functions that can be controlled remotely over a network, including 12x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom with autofocus. In fact, it eliminates blind spots with 360-degree panning, auto-flip and 180-degree tilt. The Advanced Gatekeeper functionality enables the device to automatically move to a preset position when motion is detected in a pre-defined area. Thanks to the camera's day/night functionality, high image quality is maintained even in low light conditions. It provides H.264 and Motion JPEG streams at full frame rate in 4CIF resolution (704x480 in 60 Hz, 704x576 in 50 Hz). H.264 greatly optimizes bandwidth and storage without compromising image quality.

With an IP51-rated exterior, it is protected from dust and dripping water. Additional features include an SD/SDHC slot for onboard storage and Power over Ethernet. Hard and drop ceiling brackets are included with this easy to install device, but it can also be mounted on a wall, corner or pole with the correct accessories. When used in conjunction with a multi-connector cable, the Axis P5512 IP Security Camera supports two-way audio, audio detection, input/output ports and AC/DC power.
